AUTO BODY COLLISION REPAIR CENTER FULL SERVICE AUTO REPAIR SHOP
Kathie Carson, accompanied by her brother Frank, paid us a visit in July 2009. Kathie is a very charming, lovely lady from California. She introduced herself as the daughter Harry Carson, the man that owned our building in the 1940’s and 1950’s. Harry’s real name was Hersh Shapiro, but times being what they were, he took the last name Carson. Kathie recalled her being here in her early childhood and as we walked the building with her she reminisced and shed a tear or two. Kathy shared with us a few family stories about Harry and Kathie’s mom Mickey who was quite the beauty. Harry ran a towing business out of 4080 N. Broadway called Edgecomb Towing, Inc. Below are two photos of Harry’s tow trucks and a photo of the building taken on a snowy winter day. 4080 N. Broadway remained pretty much the same until 2001, when we gave the front entrance a face lift.

Here are photos of what European & US Car Service look’s like today.
