European & US Car Service is owned and managed by Warren Preis, known to everyone as the “Hawk”.

Warren began his career at age 14 as an auto detailer for Lee Calan Imports, an auto dealership specializing in Volvo, Jaguar, MG’s and Triumphs.  He continued working there through high school and college and in 1980 became the General Manager.  He developed life long, hands on experiences in service writing, manufacturer warranty work, new and used car sales, wholesale purchasing and finance, and auto body collision work.

European & US Car Service opened for business on April 19, 1984 at 3500 N. Halsted St, in Chicago’s Lakeview / Wrigleyville neighborhood.  In 1990 the business expanded into 4080 N. Broadway and in 2001 became our sole location.  In 2009 we celebrated our 25th year in business.


WHAT WE DO

Craftsmen in the art of Auto Body Repair. European & US Car Service is a modern state of the art auto body collision repair center with 30,000 square feet of building under roof.  Our 35 employee staff includes experienced customer service estimators, production managers, skilled journeyman auto body repairmen, painters and auto mechanics. We work closely with your insurance carrier to resolve your claim. European & US Car Service works directly with major insurance companies as a preferred repair shop through their Direct Repair Program(s).  We offer auto mechanical repair and auto glass replacement.  We provide free estimates, rental car service, and 24 hour towing.  We guarantee all our work for as long as you own your car.  

We are a full service auto repair shop.  We do both ordinary auto maintenance and major mechanical repairs.   We have developed long and trusting relationships with our customers who rely on European & US Car Service to take care of all of their auto service needs.

Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Saturdays 7:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

European & amp;amp; US Car Service is a member of I-CAR with certified collision repair technicians, member of ASE with certified auto mechanics.  We are licensed for business in the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois.
